i pass it by, with a look of longing i want to grab it, and make it mine it comes so close, within my grasp i think i can feel it, at long last. then it turns around, with a mocking look 'its you again!' it says, 'my favorite toy!.' happiness speaks the dreaded words - 'i'm not for you. you can't have joy.' as i keep staring, i hear it in my mind, shaken again, by bouts of sorrow. 'i'm not for you. no,not for you...no better tomorrow. give up you might, just as well. this is your life...a repetitive hell.' i walk away, leaving it behind... feeling desolate, left to ruin. much as i know, that i will try it again, the pursuit seems hopeless,

take me away... to the place i belong, to the dreams of my past, where my loved one dwells. take me away.. to the time when i was- blessed with joy when all was not lost. take me away... to where i began- the journey i made, not knowing what was...
